Harris county flood plane map
This is a great interactive map to see if your home is in a flood plane. This covers harris and montgomery county (Houston, Spring, Tomball, Cypress, Katy, The Woodlands) As a home inspector in houston we do not check for flood planes. Home inspections cover the condition of the property. So before you put a contract on your new home check the map to see if it is in a flood plane.
